SASHA is always looking for individuals who have a commitment to SASHA’s vision statement of lighting the way along the end-of-life journey with support and compassion for persons with life-limiting illness in our community and who are willing to act as ambassadors for SASHA in the community.

VOLUNTEER - COMPASSIONATE CARE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM
Volunteers participating in the Compassionate Care Volunteer Program are matched directly with clients in the community.
Responsibilities may include:
- Provide companionship to those affected by a life-limiting illness
- Provide respite for caregivers and family members to those affected by a life-limiting illness
- Provide clients with information resources, as requested to improve community connections
- Partake in various activities with clients including but not limited to games, puzzles, hobbies, reading, active listening, engaging in conversation and walking
- Assist with SASHA programs at Foyer Lacombe
- Attend community events on behalf of SASHA.
