Unpacking for the Journey with David Maginley

On May 9, 2022, SASHA hosted “Unpacking for the Journey” featuring well known speaker and author, David Maginley.  Due to the COVID pandemic, the event, which was originally planned as an in-person event in 2020, was held virtually.  This change provided the opportunity for SASHA to expand their audience reach throughout the province.

David Maginley is an interfaith spiritual counsellor with the cancer, palliative and ICU programs at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and author of Beyond Surviving: Cancer and Your Spiritual Journey. He has also survived cancer four times, which resulted in a profound near-death experience and explorations in the nature of consciousness and the connection of body, mind and spirit. He is an advisor for provincial and federal cancer initiatives, and lectures throughout Canada on integrative spirituality in health care. David knows what it’s like to have cancer from both sides of the hospital bed, and has a sense of this life from both sides of the veil. Visit www.davidmaginley.com for more information.
