Peter Lindhout - Treasurer
Peter Lindhout retired in 2008 after working in banking for some 40 years. Since then he has been active as a financial consultant as well as a corporate director and a director of several charitable organizations.

LuAnne Sirdiak - Board Member
Personal experience as a caregiver and advocate for her younger sister through a palliative cancer experience is what brought LuAnne to SASHA. LuAnne is grateful to this amazing organization for providing hospice beds in St. Albert.
LuAnne supports the vision of SASHA to honour people in their end of life care and to support, educate and empower those affected by or caring for, a person with a life limiting illness. She would also like to find ways to help other families navigate the system when they have a loved one dealing with end of life.
LuAnne is honored to join the SASHA team. She looks forward to working with the Board to build supportive end of life care, and to create awareness and support in the community regarding palliative care.

Dr. Elisea Mori-Torres - Board Member
Dr. Mori-Torres is a Family Physician with Care of the Elderly and Palliative Care training. The focus of her practice is the care of frail elderly after acute medical events. This includes rehabilitation, disease management and when “care not cure” becomes the goal, transitioning to Palliative Care. The City of St Albert has been Dr. Mori-Torres’ home for 25 years.
Dr. Mori-Torres has seen the city grow but not the services for those with advanced disease and most certainly not for those reaching the end of their lives. A Hospice was needed. Volunteering at SASHA has given her the opportunity to give back by advocating for the needs of those that made St Albert/Sturgeon County the best place to live in.
