Harp Therapy

Cheryl Dalmer: Certified Therapeutic Harp Practitioner

The Harp Therapy Program was designed to enhance the emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being of residents and their families at Foyer Lacombe Hospice. Led by certified Therapeutic Harp Practitioner Cheryl Dalmer, this program offers calming melodies and improvisations tailored to the unique needs of patients during times of healing and transition.

Scientific studies support the therapeutic benefits of harp music, making it a valuable addition to the healthcare experience. Music sessions are held in the common area where the gentle sounds of the harp can reach residents in their rooms.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the St. Albert Community Foundation and the St. Albert Rotary Club for their generous grant funding, which enables us to continue the Harp Therapy Program. Your support helps us provide calming music that enhances the emotional and spiritual well-being of residents at Foyer Lacombe Hospice and their families. Thank you for making a difference in our community!
