In November 2020, SASHA launched their first Annual Lighting the Way fundraising campaign in support of compassion and palliative care in the communities of St. Albert and Sturgeon.  Businesses and the community at large were invited to show their support by sponsoring a tree or purchasing a bulb for the community trees surrounding Foyer Lacombe Hospice.  Donations were given in memory of loved ones who had passed or in care of those living with a life-limiting illness and in support of compassion and palliative care in our community. The Christmas lights remain lit for two months.
