In order to formalize  the work of the steering committee it was important to incorporate as an association. This was completed on April 2, 2014 and we were officially recognized as the St. Albert Sturgeon Hospice Association (SASHA).

The steering committee transitioned into a Board where positions were determined, bylaws were passed and regular meetings were held.
