SASHA works closely with the Covenant Care group to determine how we can best support and enrich the care in the Foyer Lacombe Hospice. We approach our community in a variety of ways for funds to support these hospice needs, as well as other identified initiatives important to our community and our SASHA members. Our fundraising has recently provided a specialized bariatric bed and mattress and three Broda chairs to provide greater comfort to the clientele of the Hospice.  These additions make life more comfortable for patients and families at the hospice.  The bariatric bed allows for family members to lie with their loved ones and the broda chairs allow for easier transport of patients wishing to leave their rooms for a change of scenery.
